Leak Map & backtester

Find the leak, then test the fix

The Leak Map ranks what is draining your account and what is actually paying you — by setup, session, hour, day and mistake. The Backtester then replays your own history under a rule you are considering, so you know what it would have changed before you commit to it.

  • Leak against edge, over 30, 90, 180 days or all time
  • “What if I had stopped after two losses?” — on your real trades
  • Write the rule in plain English and let the app read it
  • Two setups head to head, with the curves overlaid

On every paid plan.

Where the money goes, what one rule would have saved, the rule in plain English, and two setups head to head.

The Leak Map: where the money actually goes

Ranked, both ways. What is draining the account, and what is quietly paying for everything else.

Leak on one side, edge on the other

The map slices your history by setup, by session, by hour, by day of the week and by the mistakes you tagged, then ranks each slice by what it cost or earned. The point is not the chart — it is that the worst line is usually something you already suspected and had never seen priced.

You can read it over the last 30, 90 or 180 days, or over everything. A leak that only exists in one of those windows is worth knowing about too.

  • Ranked by setup, session, hour, day and mistake
  • Leak and edge together — what pays is as useful as what costs
  • Windows of 30, 90, 180 days or all time
  • Every line opens onto the trades behind it

The Backtester: your rules, on your trades

Not a backtest on market data. A simulator that replays the trades you actually took, under a rule you are thinking about adopting.

“What if I had stopped after two losses?”

You pick the rule and the app replays your own history under it: stop after two losses, skip Mondays, drop that setup, only trade the first hour. What comes back is the equity curve you would have had, next to the one you did have.

Rules can be composed from filters — setup, session, day, account, direction, tag, even the COT regime at the time — or written out in plain English. There is a local interpreter for that, and when a sentence is too involved for it, free AI help to turn it into a rule.

  • Seven composable filters, including COT regime
  • Rules written in plain English, read by a local interpreter
  • Equity curve and breakdown, with the active filters shown as pills
  • Setup A vs setup B, curves overlaid, with a verdict box

Find it, test it, then change one thing

The two tools are one workflow. The map tells you where to look; the backtester tells you whether the fix would have been worth it.

Rank the damage

Start from the top of the map: the lines that cost most are almost always a time of day or a state of mind, not a setup.

Replay the fix

Pick one, write the rule that would have stopped it and see what your curve does without those trades.

Write it in words

“No new trades after two losses in a row” is a sentence the app can read; you do not have to learn a syntax.

Compare, don't guess

Two setups head to head, curves on the same axes, with the difference stated rather than eyeballed.

Slice it down

Filters stack: this setup, in this session, on this account, long only. The pills at the top say what you are looking at.

Then take one to the desk

One rule at a time into tomorrow. Two changes at once and you will not know which one worked.

It replays what you did, not what you might have done. The backtester runs on trades that exist in your journal, so it can tell you what a rule would have removed — never what it would have added. A rule that makes your past curve beautiful by deleting half of it has told you something about last quarter, not about next one.

Change one thing, and know why

The map finds it, the backtester prices it. What you take to the desk tomorrow is one rule, not a resolution.
